the most remarkable thing about you standing in the doorway is that it’s you and that you’re standing in the doorway.

Sometimes, when I’m really bummed out for no reason because I’m being a dramatic fool or something, I like to play a game on the subway where I put all of their “Going to _______” songs onto one playlist and see how far I can make it before I’m about to start crying in public and I always lose at this song, right when it comes on, because I know the first line is going to make me bawl like an asshole so I usually yelp and hastily yank out my headphones like a maniac and realize I am a totally unstable human being.
